We have 10 walks in this collection ranging from 2.6 miles (4.2km) to 8.4 miles (13.5km). All involve uneven ground, gates, stiles, or small bridges. All start and finish in The Woodman car park.

Walk 1: The Camfield Loop
This walk circles Camfield Place, the estate of the late Barbara Cartland. All the walks in this series use parts of this walk. 2.6 miles (4.2 km)

Walk 2: Wildhill Loop
This walk includes a sheltered stretch along a wooded bridleway which weaves along a ridge offering excellent views south. 2.6 miles (4.2 km)

Walk 3: Woodside Loop
A circular walk over fields, along a ridge, through woodland and back to The Woodman. This route is an extension of Walk 2. 3.4 miles (5.4 km)

Walk 4: Candlestick Loop
This walk follows the route of Walk 1: The Camfield Place Loop before heading off on a detour along part of The Hertfordshire Way. 3.5 miles (5.6 km)

Walk 5: Hornbeam Lane Loop
This walk goes along footpaths, bridleways, quiet lanes, and through woodland. It includes a section of The Hertfordshire Way. 4.1 miles (6.5 km)

Walk 6: Green Street Loop
This walk crosses fields, goes along a ridge, and passes through woodland. It’s a combination of two of our shorter walks. 4.6 miles (7.4 km)

Walk 7: Causeway Loop
This walk takes in some quiet byways and footpaths, and includes a ridge walk with great views. 5.9 miles (9.5 km)

Walk 8: Essendon Loop
This walk is an extension of two of the shorter walks in this series, taking in the outskirts of Little Berkhamsted and Essendon. 6.3 miles (10.2 km)

Walk 9: Lea Valley Loop
This includes a footpath that dips down to the River Lea, and follows the river east before climbing up to Essendon. 7.2 miles (11.6 km)

Walk 10: Epping Green Loop
This walk includes parts of three of our shorter walks, passes Little Berkhamsted and loops back through Essendon. 8.4 miles (13.5 km)
