If you enjoy walking in the countryside you might want to try our 10 circular walks that all start and finish in our car park (location - https://w3w.co/plots.thinks.files). They've been put together by Dave and Ellie Brewer who have been regulars at The Woodman for more than 25 years and who run Hertfordshire Walker, a site with more than 170 walks which are all free to download and enjoy.

The Woodman collection of walks range from 2.6 miles to 8.4 miles. All start along one of three routes from The Woodman car park before branching off to explore different areas of the local countryside. And, of course, they all end up back at The Woodman. Be sure to check our opening times and menu to avoid disappointment.

We recommend that anyone who wants to explore the routes carries a copy of the Ordnance Survey Explorer map 182, St Albans & Hatfield, or downloads the Ordnance Survey mobile app. All the walks have GPS and KML files for those who would rather follow the routes with a mobile navigation app.
